We exist to provide compassionate and effective pastoral care on a voluntary basis to Simmons' employees and their immediate family members regardless of their religious affiliation or beliefs.

The Simmons family cares about our people and their families. Whether an employee works at Simmons for a year or for their entire career, our desire for them is that they would be a better person for having worked at Simmons.

Simmons Values

1. Put People First

We believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to balance our work with the needs of our families. We care about each other, the products we produce and the customers we serve. We want to treat each other how we ourselves would like to be treated. We work to create an environment where people have a safe, productive place to do their best.

2. Act With Integrity

We believe honesty and integrity are non-negotiable. We believe in doing what we say we are going to do, even when it is difficult. We will discuss issues openly and constructively, and do so without fear.  We will build longstanding relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and the community through the trust we create from being honest.

3. Take Responsibility

We believe in taking pride and ownership in our work. We are stewards of our environment, working to improve our business and communities. We are accountable for helping all of our team members grow and improve. Our resources, both time and capital, are limited. We must manage them wisely.

4. Be Curious

We believe curiosity helps us see new possibilities and solve difficult problems. Innovators created a solid foundation for our company by being willing to fail while finding the best solution to a problem. Our curiosity should lead us to use Lean rules and principles to achieve the BEST outcome. We believe innovation gives us the competitive advantage to be successful for generations.

5. Take Action

We believe in being relentless, asking hard questions and going the extra mile for our team members and customers. We believe in closing the gap between current and ideal state. We expect more of ourselves, our teams and our processes as we prepare our company for the future. We must lean into fear, be courageous and turn our values and decisions into actions that build a great company.
